Typical fraternity house-tour circuit (October, 20 PNMs on a 25-passenger mini-coach, 5-hour package):

Bid Day is the culmination of recruitment — the day PNMs receive bids and celebrate with their new chapter. Philly Charters runs Bid Day pickups on 5-day notice as standing inventory during recruitment weeks. Common package: chapter facility → celebration dinner (Cescaphe Ballroom, Vie by Cescaphe, or chapter-picked restaurant) → back to chapter house or off-campus after-party. 4-hour minimum on a 40-passenger party bus is $850–$1,200 depending on route and pickup radius.

What is a house tour shuttle?+
A dedicated party bus or mini-coach that circuits 5–10 chapter houses in a single evening or Saturday afternoon during recruitment. Potential new members (PNMs) load and unload at each stop with a 20–40 minute stay per house. Shuttle stays on-schedule with dispatcher check-ins. Common for IFC fraternity rush events, MGC intake week, and Panhellenic Preference round movement between chapter facilities.
Can we do Bid Day pickup on short notice?+
Yes — Bid Day is one of our standing recruitment-week inventory holds. As little as 5 days notice on most vehicle sizes. Common route: chapter facility → celebration dinner venue → back to house, or chapter facility → hotel photo location → back.
How large should the vehicle be for a house tour?+
For fraternity house tours with 20–30 PNMs, a 25 or 32-passenger mini-coach is ideal — comfortable, easy to load/unload, and small enough to park on residential streets. For Panhellenic Preference round movement of full pledge classes (40–60 women), a 40 or 56-passenger coach is right. For MGC intake week, a party bus doubles as celebration transport at end of night.
Do you handle dry-rush requirements?+
Yes. IFC and Panhellenic recruitment is dry rush — no alcohol on the vehicle, period. Chapter president or Recruitment VP signs the dry-rider election on the transportation agreement. Chauffeur is briefed on the dry-rush policy. Zero tolerance.
What's a typical rush week timeline?+
UPenn Panhellenic spring recruitment (illustrative): Day 1 (Open House Round) — 10-house tour, 25 min per house, 9am-5pm; Day 2 (Philanthropy Round) — 8 houses; Day 3 (Sisterhood Round) — 4-5 houses; Day 4 (Preference Round) — 2 houses in evening; Bid Day — celebration pickup. What if it snows during January rush?+
We are the fallback plan when the weather turns. Our fleet includes AWD Sprinter vans and PA-DOT-inspected motor coaches with commercial snow tires. In a January snow event we've moved full sorority Preference-round groups when PNM Ubers and Lyfts were cancelling — the coaches ran.
