The Curtis (formerly the Curtis Publishing Building) at 6th and Walnut is a historic landmark wedding venue with gorgeous interior architecture — including the famous Maxfield Parrish mosaic in the Dream Garden. The wedding-transportation logistics are driven by the Curtis's Center City location: limited curbside access on Walnut (a heavily-trafficked through street), adjacent Independence Hall tourism foot traffic, and a load zone on 6th Street that's tight for full-size coaches.
Our standard pattern: bridal-party limo enters from Walnut at the main entrance, wait and park on Sansom Street (around the corner, less traffic). Guest shuttles from Center City hotels unload on the 6th Street side where the building's staff loading doors serve as an informal group-entry point. The short walk to the main ceremony room is through the lobby past the Dream Garden — scenic but timing-sensitive if your ceremony is starting in 10 minutes.
