The festival is back on the Parkway for Labor Day weekend 2026

After sitting out 2024 and 2025, the Made in America Festival is scheduled to return to Philadelphia's Benjamin Franklin Parkway over Labor Day weekend — targeting September 5 to 6, 2026. Roc Nation's Jay-Z-founded event ran continuously from 2012 through 2023, drawing 50,000 to 70,000 fans per day to Eakins Oval and the Parkway between the Art Museum and Logan Square.

Lineups are announced 8 to 12 weeks out. Historically MIA has stacked hip-hop, R&B, pop, and electronic across two main stages plus a rotating third stage, with headliners running from 9:30 to 11:00 pm. Gates open around noon.

What hasn't changed: the Parkway between 20th Street and the Art Museum is closed for the full weekend, plus JFK Boulevard from 15th to 22nd. Center City parking is a lost cause. If you're coming from anywhere outside the immediate Parkway walkable zone, a charter bus is the sanity move.

Made in America launched on Labor Day weekend 2012 as a Jay-Z / Roc Nation co-production, staged for the first time on the Benjamin Franklin Parkway. The vision: turn the museum-district Parkway — usually a Sunday-morning bike ride and a Fourth of July fireworks lawn — into a two-day music festival at the scale of Coachella or Lollapalooza.
