Freedom Mortgage Pavilion Charter Bus Guide 2026 Season
Freedom Mortgage Pavilion Camden NJ 2026 concert season — charter bus & party bus transportation from Philadelphia. Full lineup, pickup, pricing. (267) 223-4647.
Camden waterfront amphitheater season
Freedom Mortgage Pavilion is the outdoor amphitheater directly across the Delaware River from Center City Philadelphia, tucked onto the Camden waterfront next to the Adventure Aquarium and Battleship New Jersey. Capacity runs 25,000 (7,500 reserved seats + 17,500 general-admission lawn), the sight lines are unobstructed, and the summer concert schedule is the most stacked on the East Coast outside of MSG.
What makes the Pavilion tricky for suburban charter groups: getting there is a ten-minute drive from Center City, but the Ben Franklin Bridge is a chokepoint every summer weekend, RiverLink Ferry parking evaporates by 6 PM, and the on-site lots are $50+ cash on the night. Charter is the clean solution — pickup in the suburbs, cross the bridge once, drop 200 feet from the gate, pick up when the encore ends.
Below is the confirmed 2026 lineup, the Ben Franklin Bridge timing playbook, and the pricing reality for a Camden-side charter from Philly-area origins.

About Freedom Mortgage Pavilion
Located at 1 Harbour Boulevard, Camden NJ — technically across the state line but functionally 10 minutes from Center City. The venue was previously called "BB&T Pavilion," "Susquehanna Bank Center," and "Tweeter Center." Locals rotate the names but everyone means the same amphitheater.
Charter bus drop zone: designated bus lot on the Cooper Street side, 3-minute walk to the gate. Bus parking pass ~$60 cash on the night, coordinated by the driver.

The Ben Franklin Bridge timing rule
This is the single most important thing to understand about a Camden concert charter from Philly: the Ben Franklin Bridge fills up between 6:00 PM and 7:15 PM on summer concert nights. Traffic backs up onto I-676 westbound (the approach from Center City) and can add 25 minutes to what should be a 5-minute crossing.
Two survival strategies:
- Cross early, drink at the gate. Pickup 4:30 PM, cross the bridge by 5:30 PM, drop at the Pavilion by 5:45. Gates typically open at 6:00 PM. Group is inside 30 minutes before the opener.
- Cross late, skip the gate line. Pickup 6:15 PM, cross the bridge at 7:00 PM in the tail of the traffic wave, drop at 7:15 PM. Group walks straight in with no security line but misses the opener. Only works for headline-only fans.
The "worst possible timing" is a 5:45 PM pickup that hits the bridge at 6:30 PM — every group in South Jersey with the same idea.
Best charter vehicles for a Pavilion show
Freedom Mortgage Pavilion pulls one of the widest demographics in the Philly market. Different tours = different vehicle mix:
- 5 Seconds of Summer / K-pop / young pop: party bus, 20–28 passenger. Ride down IS the party.
- Lynyrd Skynyrd / Foreigner / classic rock: 40-56 passenger motor coach. Reclining seats, restroom, cooler space. Older demo, comfort-first.
- Chris Stapleton / Riley Green / country: 28-passenger party bus or entertainer coach. Tailgate-heavy crowd.
- Gorillaz / Mt. Joy / alternative: 20-passenger executive coach or Sprinter — smaller friend groups, less party-bus energy.
- TLC / Salt-N-Pepa / 90s R&B: 28-passenger party bus, hands down — the ride down is a singalong.
- Lil Wayne: party bus, full stop.
Pickup timing by region for a 7:30 PM Pavilion show
- Cherry Hill / Voorhees / Mount Laurel: 20 min via 130 or 676. Pickup 6:00 PM.
- Center City / South Philly: 15 min via Ben Franklin. Pickup 5:45 PM.
- King of Prussia / Wayne: 45 min via 76 + 676. Pickup 5:00 PM.
- Bucks County: 55 min via 95 + Betsy Ross Bridge. Pickup 4:45 PM.
- Wilmington DE: 45 min via 95 + Commodore Barry Bridge. Pickup 5:00 PM.
- Atlantic City / Ocean City: 70 min via AC Expressway. Pickup 4:30 PM.
- Lancaster / Lehigh Valley: 100 min. Pickup 4:00 PM.
Post-show exit — the Camden reality
Post-show exit from Freedom Mortgage Pavilion is significantly smoother than post-show exit from Lincoln Financial Field. The reason: the amphitheater has three exit routes onto Harbour Boulevard, then a straight shot back to the Ben Franklin Bridge or up 676 to the Betsy Ross. You're rolling within 15 minutes of house lights on most nights.
Standard timing for a 7:30 PM Pavilion show:
- Headliner ends: ~10:00 PM (encore in most tours)
- House lights: ~10:10 PM
- Group at bus: ~10:25 PM
- Bus rolling: 10:30 PM
- Back across the bridge: ~10:45 PM
- Home to Cherry Hill: 11:00 PM
- Home to Bucks / Chesco / Wilmington: 11:30-11:45 PM
