Eagles 2026 Tailgate Guide: Charter Bus from Bucks, Montco & Chesco
Eagles 2026 home schedule + charter bus tailgate strategy from Bucks County, Montgomery County, and Chester County. Lots, pickup times, peak-demand weeks.
The 2026 Eagles home schedule (10 games, all at Lincoln Financial Field)
The Eagles host 10 games at Lincoln Financial Field in 2026 — one preseason and nine regular-season. Here's the full home calendar so you can lock pickup times and reserve your bus before the high-demand weeks fill up:
- Friday August 28, 2026 — Bengals (preseason finale). Soft demand; party buses available 7 days out.
- Sunday September 13, 2026 — Commanders (likely home opener). NFC East rival; high demand for groups from south Jersey.
- Sunday October 4, 2026 — Rams. Sunday afternoon; medium demand.
- Sunday October 18, 2026 — Panthers. Lower-demand game; good "build the habit" booking for first-timers.
- Monday October 26, 2026 — Cowboys (likely MNF). Peak demand of the year. Book 90+ days out from Bucks / Montco / Chesco / Lehigh Valley. See our dedicated Eagles vs Cowboys MNF charter guide.
- Sunday November 8, 2026 — Giants. NFC East divisional; medium-high demand.
- Sunday November 22, 2026 — Steelers. Cross-state rivalry; expect heavy Steeler-fan inbound from Lancaster / Reading / Harrisburg.
- Sunday December 13, 2026 — Colts. Cold-weather game; sprinter and party-bus demand spikes (people want to stay warm between gate and tailgate).
- Saturday December 19, 2026 — Seahawks (likely Saturday night). Late-season; weather wildcard.
- Thursday December 24, 2026 — Texans (TNF, Christmas Eve). Short week, hard pickup logistics — book early.
Why charter into Lincoln Financial Field instead of driving?
Three brutally practical reasons every Bucks / Montco / Chesco fan should know:
- Parking at the Linc is genuinely awful + expensive. Lot D and Lot K are the closest tailgate lots; both sell for $50–$100 cash on game day and fill 3 hours before kickoff. By the time you find a spot, your tailgate is over. A 28-passenger party bus drops you directly inside the lot ring road — no walk from Pattison Ave parking.
- I-76 (Schuylkill) traffic eastbound from KOP / Conshy / Wayne on a 1 PM Sunday is a parking lot. Drive yourself and you're sitting in Manayunk-to-University-City stop-and-go from 11 AM. A charter bus uses the same lanes but you're not driving — start drinking when you board, eat catering on board, arrive in the same time but with a 4-hour head start on the day.
- The walk from Pattison Avenue parking to the gate is brutal in December. Lot A, Lot N, and the Wells Fargo Center overflow lots are a 15-minute walk in 38°F with a 20 mph wind off the Delaware. A bus drop is 50 feet from your tailgate setup.
Plus the obvious one: you can have eight beers and a Tony Luke's, and nobody has to drive home.
The four-county pickup playbook
We charter Eagles games from every Philly-collar pickup point. Real-world routing and pricing:
Bucks County (Doylestown, Newtown, Yardley, Levittown, Bensalem): 75–90 minute drive depending on Roosevelt Blvd vs I-95 routing. Pickup 4 hours before kickoff. Most common bus: 28-passenger party bus or 35-passenger entertainer coach. Routes converge at Bensalem before jumping I-95 South. See more on Doylestown charter bus.
Montgomery County (King of Prussia, Conshohocken, Norristown, Lansdale): 45–70 minute drive via I-76 East. Pickup 3.5 hours before kickoff. Most common: 20- or 28-passenger party bus from the KOP Mall / Town Center pickup. King of Prussia charter bus and Conshohocken charter bus are our two biggest origin volumes.
Chester County (West Chester, Wayne, Malvern, Exton, Phoenixville): 60–80 minute drive via 202 + 76 OR 322 + 95. Pickup 4 hours before kickoff. We route 202-East groups through the KOP convergence; 322-South groups stay on I-95. West Chester charter bus and Wayne charter bus both run heavily on Sundays in fall.
Lehigh Valley (Allentown, Bethlehem, Easton): 90–110 minute drive via PA Turnpike NE Extension + 476 + 76. Pickup 4.5 hours before kickoff for 1 PM games. Most common: 35-passenger party bus or 56-passenger motor coach for two-row groups. See Allentown charter bus and Bethlehem charter bus.
Tailgate lots that allow charter bus drop-off
Not every lot at the Sports Complex accepts buses. Here's what works:
- Lot K (Pattison Ave side of Lincoln Financial Field) — primary charter bus tailgate lot. Buses park as one unit; tailgaters set up beside the bus. ~$200 bus parking pass purchased in advance by your driver.
- Lot D (Citizens Bank Park side) — overflow charter parking when Lot K fills. Same pricing tier. Slightly longer walk to the Linc gate but better catering truck access.
- Lot N + Wells Fargo overflow — emergency overflow only. Used for Cowboys MNF and Steelers games. Your driver will know which lot is current.
Important: buses cannot tailgate where cars can. The "I'll just have my friend in his pickup save us a spot" plan doesn't work — bus passes are pre-purchased and lot-specific. We handle this on the booking side.
What to bring (and what we provide)
On a typical 8-hour Eagles charter — 4 hours pickup-to-kickoff, 3 hours game, 1 hour back — here's the split:
What's on the bus already: bottled water (free, unlimited), Bluetooth sound system for tailgate playlist, full restroom on 35+ passenger coaches (yes, even the 28-passenger party bus has one), LED ceiling for night games, USB charging at every seat.
What you bring: all food + drinks (coolers + ice — bus has compartment storage), portable grill if you're cooking on-site (most groups order Federal Donuts and Tony Luke's catering instead), Eagles gear, lawn chairs / portable table for the tailgate, your gate tickets (mobile is fine — no signal issues at the Linc).
What's a no-go: glass bottles (lot policy, not ours), open flames inside the bus, kegs (cooler-only).
Vehicle recommendations by group size
The single most-asked question we get: "what size bus for X people?" For Eagles tailgates specifically:
- 10–16 people: 14-passenger stretch limo or 14-passenger executive sprinter. Best if your group includes spouses who'd rather not tailgate-tailgate.
- 16–22 people: 20-passenger party bus. Sweet spot for college friend groups, fantasy league get-togethers.
- 22–28 people: 28-passenger party bus. Most popular Eagles configuration in our fleet.
- 28–40 people: 35-passenger entertainer coach or 40-passenger motor coach with party-bus interior. Corporate Eagles charters live here.
- 40+ people: 56-passenger motor coach. No party-bus interior but seats two abreast comfortably and has the biggest under-bus storage for catering setups.

Booking timeline for the 2026 season
If you remember nothing else, remember this: book your bus before the season starts. The October 26 Cowboys MNF, November 22 Steelers, and December 24 TNF Texans games will sell out our 28-passenger inventory by mid-September. The cheap weeks — Panthers October 18, Rams October 4 — you can book inside 14 days and still get a fair price.
Best time to book each game type:
- Cowboys / Giants / Steelers / TNF: 60–90 days out.
- NFC East divisional + home opener (Commanders): 45–60 days out.
- Mid-season Sunday afternoon (Panthers, Rams): 14–30 days out is fine.
- December cold-weather games (Colts, Seahawks): 30 days out — sprinter / coach inventory tightens when weather turns.
Cost is straightforward: most Eagles tailgate charters land between $1,400 (KOP, 20-passenger, regular Sunday) and $2,400 (Bucks County, 35-passenger, Cowboys MNF). Our full pricing breakdown is in the 2026 Philly party bus cost guide.
Tailgate catering: what we recommend for groups of 25+
Most Eagles tailgate groups eventually decide that BYO-everything is too much work. Real catering options that deliver to the Sports Complex on game day:
- Federal Donuts — chicken-and-donuts platters. 24-hour notice. ~$22/person for a tailgate-sized order.
- Tony Luke's — cheesesteaks (the South Philly original on Oregon Ave). Delivers to Lot K with 48-hour notice. ~$15/person.
- Distrito — Mexican catering, taco bar format. ~$25/person. Their Lot K + Lot D delivery is fast.
- Chickie's & Pete's — crab fries + wings + sandwiches. Their Packer Ave location is 2 minutes from the Sports Complex. Pickup or delivery. ~$18/person.
- Reading Terminal Market for advance-pickup variety platters (DiNic's roast pork, Beiler's pastries, Pearl's Oyster Bar).
For groups of 40+ on the 56-passenger motor coach, we sometimes route the bus through a Reading Terminal pickup before heading to the Sports Complex. Adds 25 min to the run but gives the group a much better food spread than the lot vendors.
Game-day weather contingency planning
Philadelphia in late October / November / December gets weather. Five real scenarios:
- Rain (most common): bus operates normally. Lot tailgating moves under the bus's pop-up canopy (we provide on request). Most Eagles groups treat 40°F + drizzle as "just put a hood on and crack a beer."
- Snow: bus operates normally unless I-76 is closed (rare). Driver re-routes via 422 or 422 + Schuylkill Expressway.
- Sub-25°F cold: bus operates normally. Tailgate moves to "inside the bus" — drivers leave heat running. Groups often skip the tailgate entirely and arrive at the gate 30 min before kickoff.
- Weather-postponement: rare for the NFL. If game is moved to a different day, your charter moves with it at no rebooking fee.
- Severe weather (hurricane / blizzard): full refund minus deposit if Sports Complex is closed.
